Price change alerts
Competitor price change alerts, with evidence attached
An alert is only useful if you can trust it. TierPing classifies each change, scores its confidence and links it to the snapshot it came from.
Current status
Email alerts are live. When a check detects a change type you have opted into, Tier Ping emails your confirmed account address from alerts@tierping.com, at most 20 alerts a day. Every change is also kept in your dashboard history.
What triggers a change record
- A price amount or currency changes on a detected plan
- A plan appears, disappears or is renamed
- A listed limit changes
- Optional: other copy changes on the page
Choose what you hear about
Alert preferences let you choose price, plan, limit and copy changes separately, so a reworded tagline does not compete for attention with a price rise.
No noise from redesigns
If extraction confidence drops (for example after a redesign), TierPing records a copy change rather than claiming prices moved.
Frequently asked questions
- Where are alerts sent?
- To your confirmed account email address, from alerts@tierping.com, with at most 20 alerts a day. Every change is also kept in your dashboard history.
- Can I choose which changes trigger an alert?
- Yes. Price, plan, limit and copy changes can be turned on or off separately in your alert preferences.
- Will a page redesign trigger a false price alert?
- It should not. When extraction confidence drops, the difference is recorded as a copy change rather than a price change.
